Office Staff

Office assistants perform administrative and routine clerical tasks. Their responsibilities may include organizing and managing files, acting as receptionists, scheduling meetings, and appointments, and supporting other staff with organizational tasks. In addition, the Office Assistance must work directly with children and therefore must be able to establish a good rapport with the campers, and be pressure resilient and be willing to find a flexible approach time management and organizational skills.

Typical duties include:

  • Ability to take initiative and handle multiple tasks

  • Be comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance

  • Strong attention to detail- an organizational mastermind

  • Proficient computer skills and ability to operate general office equipment 

  • Answer phone calls and direct callers to the appropriate party 

  • Process, sort, and route incoming and outgoing mail, receive and distribute packages

  • Monitor and manage inventory of office supplies; order and distribute office supplies as necessary 

  • Greet visitors in a professional manner and provide them with information and direct them accordingly 

  • Works well independently but also thrives in a collaborative, team environment 

  • Genuinely enjoy helping people-kids and adults! Ability to foster and maintain a positive camp climate
